UTOPIAN KITCHEN & the a-team
WALKs TO END ALZHEIMER’S
I am so proud and excited to announce that Utopian Kitchen is partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association to help achieve their mission of eliminating Alzheimer’s Disease. My Mom-Mom, Gerry Panico, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 1998, and battled with this horrendous disease until she passed in 2010.
My Pops (and husband to Gerry), John Panico, was eternally by Gerry’s side - if you ever wanted to know what dedication and love look like, Pops was the perfect model. He spent countless amounts of time by his wife’s side (along with their 4 kids - Dina, Carol, Maria, and John Jr.), sacrificing so much as the disease progressed. After Gerry’s passing, John made it his mission to raise money and awareness to end Alzheimer’s disease. With a friend he met at the nursing home, Joe M., they created the “A-Team” in Delaware and have been nationally recognized for the work they’ve done over the years. Pops passed away last August, but through the continued effort and support of Joe M. and our family, the A-Team will continue to have a strong presence.
To support this worthy cause, I am offering a discount on your order - and donating a quarter of the order total to the Alzheimer’s Association - through the A-Team of course.
Use the promo code "ATEAMPB" to receive 10% off your order, and Utopian Kitchen will donate 25% of the order total to the Alzheimer’s Association in its fight against Alzheimer’s disease. This promotion will run from now through October 20, 2018 - which is the weekend of Alzheimer’s Walk in Delaware where the A-Team will be going strong.
